SYMPTOM Intermittent failure of the line output transistor, the reciever may not start up, or start up is intermittent. CAUSE ACTION Dry joint(s) on scanning coil PWB. If any of the above models come in for service, unclip the small PWB on the scanning coils and resolder the connections. Also resolder the scanning coil connections if a chassis has been exchanged for any of the above symptoms.
