This new publication as updated by Technical Newsletter GN28-2556 applies to release 2
of OS/VS1 and to all subsequent releases until otherwise indicated in new editions or
Technical Newsletters. It replaces VS1 information contained in OSjVS OLTEP,
GC28-0636, which applies to release 1 of OS/VS 1 and release 1 of OS/VS2.
For a summary of major changes for release 2 of OS/VS1, see the Summary of
Amendments.
