This publication describes the internal logic of the
EDIT Command Processor program (program number
360S-UT-S06). Included in this manual are discussions
of the organization and method of operation of the
program, a microfiche directory, tables of data layouts,
flowcharts, and a glossary.
The EDIT program processes the EDIT command and
subcommands, which are a part of the TSO command
language. The EDIT command and its subcommands create
and modify data sets. The subcommands are:
