Pic comes on briefly with no sound then reverts to st/by
Reverting to prot mode - could be many things but check sound prot first. Isolate IC051 by lifting D682 pic appeared ok. Change IC051 & check audio sect psu - D1633, Q1633 & R1639 were also damaged

IC051 TA8216H blown but replacement failed to cure - to disable st/y dis J616 - R1637 2R7 & D1637 replaced. When 5v supply on pin 4 Plug K31CC dis'd set starts up - traced to IC3101 JLC1562BN faulty

Trips straight off to st/by
IC501 TA8216H audio chip faulty - also R1637 2R7 5w & D1637 YG901C2-LB but still trips. IC3101 JLC1562BN on Nicam board was the cause. Disabling st/by cct by dis'ing J616 in psu helps to fault find
