The top oven cooling fan is turned on and off as the selector switch is set to a function or turned off. Operation of the top oven does not operate the bottom cooling fan. BOTTOM OVEN The bottom oven three elements. Single grill, fan forced and the under oven element. ONLY ONE ELEMENT IS ON AT ANY TIME. On static oven and fan assist oven settings, only the grill element is on for a period of time and then only the under oven element is on for a period of time. This cycle is repeated continuously. The on and off time periods are selected by the central processing unit (Computer CPU) and are continuously variable. On fan forced plus under oven element, only the fan forced element is on for a period of time and then only the bottom element is on for a period of time.
