------------------------------------------------ README for the Agilent Technologies ESA Series Signal Analyzers Documentation Set E4401-90427 August 2002 ------------------------------------------------ This readme file contains information regarding the following subjects: - Instructions for using the CD-ROM on a PC and opening the navigation page (Main Menu) - A list of the PDF files on the CD-ROM - A list of the Programming Examples (in ASCII format) located in the prgxmpls directory ========================================== Instructions for using the CD-ROM on a PC ========================================== (If you already have Adobe Acrobat Reader with Search loaded on your PC, go to step 2.) 1. Install Acrobat Reader with Search on your PC. If you have Windows NT or Windows 95, click on Start, Run, and type: D:\ACROBAT\ACROREAD\WIN\Rdr_srch\32BIT\SETUP.EXE (where D: is the drive letter for your CD-ROM drive) If you have Windows 3.1 click on File, Run, and type: D:\ACROBAT\ACROREAD\WIN\Rdr_srch\16BIT\SETUP.EXE (where D: is the drive letter for your CD-ROM drive) 2. This CD-ROM should automatically load, but if it doesn't, you can manually open it by going to D:\mainmenu.pdf. This is the main menu page which contains document descriptions and navigation links to all other documents on the CD-ROM. If you just loaded Adobe Acrobat Reader, you will need to open the CD-ROM drive and close it again so your PC can search for the auto load program. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A note regarding navigation links in Netscape Navigator: The navigation links in the Main Menu may not function as you expect when Acrobat Reader is launched from Netscape Navigator.
