Agilent 3458A Option 001 Installation Note Introduction This document provides the procedure for installing the extended memory option 001 retrofit kit 03458-87901 (four RAM ICs, p/n 1818-3981) onto the controller assembly for a standard 3458A, serial number US2803151 and below. This converts the standard 03458-66505 controller assembly to 03458-66515. For a standard 3458A, serial number US2803152 and greater, do not use this kit. Use extended memory kit 03458-87902 instead for such units. CAUTION Use safe, anti-static handling techniques when installing the four RAM ICs.
