They are similar in many ways ­ the only differences being the keyboard layout. Remove the SIM card. Remove the antenna by unscrewing with the antenna extraction tool ART­3 (not used with NHE­4, NHK­4 and NHB­2) Now remove two back cover screws and remove the back cover by lifting it away. Now the SIM card holder can be lifted off. Turn around the chassis and open the display module a little. Open the display module connector by pressing both sides of connector and slide off the display module cable. NHE­1 and NHK­1: Turn chassis again and remove two module screws. NHE­4, NHK­4 and NHB­2: Remove three/four module screws. Remove the plastic shield. The plastic shield can be thrown away and is disposable (NHE­1 and NHK­1 only). Now you can separate the system module from the bottom shield by lifting it away.

The guide is not intended to be definitive, because different types and modes of vehicle will require different installation work. The information given is for general guidance only. Read this instructions carefully in order to minimize the problems and malfunctions. The car kit should be installed by an authorized installer. The end user should never attempt to install the car kit without professional assistance as the install requires special tools and knowledge. The installer should rely on his or her own skills and common sense when choosing the locations. The terms of warranty demands that the telephone is installed by an experienced installation facility. Please refer to the telephone's users guide for instructions on the telephone's operation, care and maintenance, including important safety information. Note: Read the warnings below before beginning the installation procedure.
