There were units released from the factory that were set to Canadian V code settings. SOLUTION: Put the unit into the Service Mode using the remote. (Display, 5, Volume +, Enter.) Use the 4 or 1 remote buttons to obtain the ID-3 setting location. 1. Change the value of ID3 from 50 to 18, by using the 3 or 6 button on the remote. 2. Save the change by pressing the mute and enter button on the remote. 3. The text should turn red. To confirm the change press on the remote the 0, then enter buttons. Confirm ID3 value is 18.
