Most problem of the capstan motor can be traced to a mechanical friction between the metal and the capstan shaft. Rotor is fixed by the magnetic force and can be removed by pulling it out. Take care of that a small clear washer is located inside. After the cleaning, apply one drop of oil to the oil-less metal.
