Likewise, please check if the optical lock lever is released when fitting the rear cover. The optical lock lever may be unawarely pushed in by a rib on the rear cover when fitting it. In this condition, the optical system is not able to move toward left side when attempting to copy using the DP since the optical lock lever is locked (the lever is pushed in). This will cause abnormal images such as blank copy or foggy background. Upper left cover Rear cover A rib on the rear cover may push the lock lever.
