If it was omitted to release the lock lever, the C3100 error (ISU home position error) will occur when the power is turned ON at setup of the machine. Therefore, a leaflet to instruct to release the lock lever was newly added. (Please refer to (2) Removing the Tapes in 1-2-2 Unpacking in the Service Manual.) Content: Move the lock lever to the position of release*. When turning the power ON with the lock lever unreleased, error message will be displayed. *Please turn the power OFF, release the lock lever and turn the power ON again if the 3100 error was caused by this reason.
