It is to aid in understanding configurations of host attached or remote attached controllers. In order to make an initial decision, an understanding of the connectivity of each device and the different features, throughput capabilities, and requirements in each loc~l and remote IBM Token-Ring network environment is needed. Yarious backup alternatives will also be reviewed.
