Do not exceed the maximum signal levels of this accessory (as defined in the Characteristics paragraph) or any attached instrument. Inspect the probes, lead insulation, and insulating sheaths for wear, cracks, or breaks before each use. For maximum safety, never touch or change the leads or power connections when power is applied to the circuit under test. Always turn off test system power and discharge all capacitors before connecting or disconnecting the leads. To prevent exposed voltages or shorting between connections, make sure both ends of the cables are properly connected before applying power.
