The software of the unit should be checked and updated to version 1.7 or later
Go to the following internet link for updating instructions and software.

On the above web page, select the options below (in turn) from the left side links
1. DIGITAL AV
2. BD
This will then take you to the BD (blu ray disc player) section showing various models and software updates.
Select the SCBT100 model for links to the software and procedure for checking the version.
How to reset the SC-BT100EB
If the update fails to cure the issue then try reinitialising the unit as per attached steps below:
NOTE: With the unit in standby, these front keys must be pressed down in the order shown below:
FWD > FWD+ STOP> FWD+STOP+ OPEN (also shown in back of user book page 40)
WITH ALL 3 FRONT BUTTONS FINALLY HELD DOWN UNTIL THE UNIT SHOWS:
`PLEASE WAIT `on the front FL display
It then changes to BYE and goes back into standby
To check the reset has taken place:
Ensure the unit is connected to a TV, the EASY SETTING menu mode will appear on the TV screen when
the BT100 is next turned on after the above reset procedure.
