| a very common fault on these sets is that if the a1 control (screen) is not set PRECISELY the set will shut down as the auto grey scale will not set itself. you should really use an oscilloscope to set it, if not try advancing the a1 control v slightly and see what happens, it may take a few attempts. the correct value of the black level pulse should be 145v +/- 10v. | 07-07-05 |
