Warning
Read the warnings below before you start up connecting the UPS. 1. This UPS system contain hazardous AC and DC voltages and is supplied from more power sources! 2. Only qualified electricians must perform the installation according to national and local codes! 3. This UPS system has no built-in disconnecting devices for the external AC and DC input power sources. Disconnecting devices must be provided as external parts in connection with the installation! 4. The Installer must provide each external disconnecting device for this UPS system with labels having the following wording: "Isolate the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) as instructed in the Installation Guide before working on this circuit".

1.0 INTRODUCTION
The information given in this installation guide is of general nature for the local authorized electrical installer. By the installation also national and local electrical regulations have to be adhered to.
2.0 UNPACKING
1. 2. 3. Unpack the system by removing the screws on the top and bottom part of the packaging side plates and lift up the side plates as a whole. Check that the type label placed inside on the front door correspond to the ordered system, especially with respect to input / output voltages. Transport the system to the installation site by lifting underneath by means of a fork lift.
3.0 PLACING 3.1 Requirements on the installation site.
The system is designed for indoor installation. The system must not be exposed to direct sunlight. The ambient temperature must be 0° to +40°C. The relative air humidity must be less than 95%, not condensing. The ambient air must be free from dust and aggressive gases. The air flow through the ventilation slots must not be hindered. Keep the ventilation slots free from dust. The arrangement of the system should be made according to point 3.2 and 3.3 to ensure enough free space for operation and service. Base drawings showing the location of cubicle feet and cable inlets are shown in point 3.4.

4.0 CONNECTION 4.1 NOTICE ! IMPORTANT !
This system is not equipped with internally disconnecting switches for mains and battery supply. The switch for mains supply must be provided by the customer. The disconnecting unit must have a contact separation of at least 3 mm. MCB for battery supply is placed in the standard 300 series battery cubicle. The customer has to place the "Label for disconnecting switch" beside each external switch according to IEC950. The label sheet is supplied with this manual.
