Sony | AE2B | Corrupted EEPROM and no teletext - set up in service menu | Press and hold any two buttons at the front of the set and switch it on from the mains. The letters TT appear on the screen to indicate it is in service mode. 2. To re-enable teletext: Type in 18 on the handset. Switch the set off then on again and teletext will be back. 3. To change other settings:
Enter service mode as described above. Press menu and scroll down to 'Demonstration' An extra menu option for set ups will now appear. Scroll through the various set-ups and change as required.
The TV system should be set to 'I' (for the UK) Enable the AV1, AV2 and front AV inputs as required.
Enable the PIP (Picture in Picture) (if you want it!). Settings only take effect when the set is switched off then on again to exit service mode. Depending on the changes you may have to enter all your stations again using the preset mode. | 14-09-04 |
